President
Jessica is a native New Englander and the founder of Spitfire Communications. Her optimism, ambition, and never-give-up attitude has brought her here. She is constantly pursuing new ways of communicating and to providing her clients the very best service. An energetic business leader, she realizes the importance of relationships and builds upon them every day. Jessica feels extremely fortunate to work with a truly extraordinary team of people.
Jessica is a graduate of the University of Hartford with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. She has over 12 years experience in the employee communications industry and has developed and managed complex communication projects for many Fortune 500 companies. Jessica's most notable attribute is her ability to transform large scale ideas into streamlined executable campaigns and often within very tight time frames.
Under Jessica's strong leadership, Spitfire is dedicated to the highest degree of customer service and client satisfaction. Her passion, creativity, and drive is visible in the success and achievements of her talented team.
When Jessica is not hard at work growing Spitfire, she is spending time with her husband and two children, horseback riding, boating or traveling.
Vice President
Susie is a California native and a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. She has over 15 years of experience in the benefit communication field and has partnered with employers of all sizes, including many Fortune 500 companies and large Government entities to help develop innovative solutions to their employee benefit communication needs. Susie’s business background also includes over 18 years of experience in the Life and Health Insurance industry where she served in various Sales, Marketing and Account Management roles. Susie’s ability to develop creative communication strategies that align fully with her customer’s goals and needs make her a respected and successful professional in the employee communications field.
Susie currently resides in West Hartford, CT with her husband and son. She enjoys cooking, tennis and aerobics in her spare time.
Account Manager
Nancy is a Connecticut native and a graduate of Merrimack College with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing. She has over 20 years experience in marketing and sales, including not-for-profit organizations. Whether executing strategic communication campaigns for a client, or managing efforts to support an organization’s mission, Nancy’s hands-on experience and forward thinking approach have allowed her to effectively assess and accomplish successful outcomes for her clients.
Nancy and her husband have two children and reside in Simsbury, CT. When she is not busy at work or with her family, she can be found spear-heading a variety of projects benefiting the greater Farmington Valley.
Account Manager
Karen graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst honors program with a B.A. in English. Following her graduation, she moved to Osaka, Japan where she taught English as a foreign language. Since returning to the United States, Karen’s background has been in the employee communications industry. She has managed the development and delivery of industry-leading, multimedia and print materials for more than 50 companies, including several Fortune 500 companies. Karen is skilled in the execution of the strategy and anticipates clients' needs and concerns. She also manages Spitfire's resource teams with fresh approaches that ensure client satisfaction.
Karen resides in northwestern Connecticut with her husband. In her free time she enjoys traveling, having been to over 20 countries so far.
